Italian independent researcher and writer with academic background in computer science. Main interest: human beings in all their forms. Main topic: the frontier between the calculable and the incalculable.
My first essay W.C.Net – Mito e luoghi comuni di Internet (1997) studied the apocalypse/integration myths of the internet advent in Italy. It was recommended by Umberto Eco.
In 2016 I published the essay Noi siamo incalcolabili. La matematica e l’ultimo illusionismo del potere (We are incalculable. Math and the last delusion of power) against the totalitarianism of numbers, analyzing the genealogy and takeover of calculable formalism as radically anti-social cultural pathology.
My inquiry on the in/calc frontier continues in various forms. Also in English, here and elsewhere. See also stefanodiana.info.
